Project Goals

System Installer's job is to build Linux images. It will build images for many distributions and in many different "flavors". In order to do this, it must accomplish a number of discreet tasks:

• Define and maintain a rich set of image "flavors" (eg. web server, name server...)
• Provide a simple command line and graphical interface.
• Gather data from users to pass to System Imager & System Configurator.
